1. Why should I do this course? You never know when you may be able to help save
a life. We recommend that everyone knows CPR. All workplaces are also required
to have staff with an up to date CPR qualification on location.
2. Are these courses accredited? Yes, both courses are recognised and approved
by Life Saving Victoria (LSV).
3. When are the new guidelines being introduced? As of the 1st August 2006 the
new guidelines will be taught by Simply CPR staff.
4. How long does my accreditation last for? 12 months; a reminder letter will be
sent to each person to enrol for their update.
5. How long does it take for my accreditation to be processed? Normally a week
to 10 days, depending on how back logged LSV are. It will then be sent to you
or dropped off directly depending on your location.
6. What does DRABCD stand for ? Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Compressions,
Defibrillator.

7. Who can do the course? Anyone over the age of 12 years.
