Background Information
My name is Paula Ward. A new chapter is starting, and I am very excited to
be opening a small business called "Simply CPR". The chance to work with a
variety of groups and business's is very rewarding and challenging. There
is no greater skill to have than to be able to act quickly and correctly
in an emergency situation and save someone's life. It might be your child,
partner, parent or friend. Either way, you never know when you may have to
use the skills learnt in one of Simply CPR's courses. |

The previous 10 years I had been employed at Surrey Park Swim School /
Club, as a swimming instructor and Level 1 coach. From 2000—2002, I was
the Manager. This involved over-seeing 1500 students and 50 casual staff.
I loved the challenge of juggling a number of different areas including
staffing and timetabling, finance and budgeting, resolving conflict with
staff and parents, co-ordinating school groups, marketing and advertising.
This also opened the door to become a CPR Examiner through Life Saving Victoria. I have been working as a CPR examiner for the last 6 years and look forward to what the future holds. |
